Opportunity Summary 

The social media internship responsibilities include creating informative videos and helping with marketing and growing the company.

At our monthly seminars, the intern is responsible for recording and editing videos to send out to clients and post on social media.

The intern is responsible for creating scripts for the video ideas in the pipeline.

The intern is responsible for the company’s social media growth and outreach to potential clients.

Tasks:

Creativity is encouraged!
Creation of media plans
Production and post-production of educational and promotional videos and media posts
Tracking and analysis of audience engagement
Assistance with public relations tasks

Training:

After the initial orientation, meetings with the mentor will be held twice a week to track the progress of the projects; the student will be trained on the job; work samples will be provided; as the tasks/projects are completed, the success will be evaluated by the customer engagement resulting from the completed project.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to create long-term and short-term media plans, design and produce promotional and educational videos; the student will gain experience in the post-production process and distribution of the media materials throughout public channels.
