Opportunity Summary 

Students will gain hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy and sports performance clinic by observing and assisting with patient care, rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention, and sports performance training under staff supervision.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will understand clinic operations, improve communication with patients, develop knowledge of rehabilitation exercises and sports performance, and strengthen professional skills in a clinical setting.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive hands-on training from licensed physical therapists and staff. They will learn clinic procedures, patient care, rehabilitation exercises, and sports performance techniques under supervision.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will follow all clinic safety policies, maintain patient confidentiality, use proper body mechanics when assisting patients, and follow infection control and equipment safety procedures under staff supervision.
