Opportunity Summary 

Serving families, individuals, and unhoused individuals multiple food items by completing an initial intake sheet. Preparing food boxes based on family size. Working with other volunteer team members. 

Task:

Greet clients in a respectful, friendly manner. Complete client Intake Sheet accurately. Prepare & distribute food boxes per family size.

Training:

Initial observation and tour visit of the pantry during working hours. Explanation of clients. Weekly meeting with supervisor and Leadership Team.

Learning Outcome:

Interviewing clients of multiple personalities, some with little English skills. Complete understanding of placement of multiple food items stored on numerous shelves, four freezers, two refrigerators in order to serve clients promptly & efficiently. Compassionate attitude concerning clients needs and those living under stressful circumstances and those living on the streets.
