Opportunity Summary 

A Behavior Interventionist (BI) provides direct ABA services by implementing individualized behavior intervention programs. The BI teaches communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills while helping reduce maladaptive behaviors through reinforcement, prompting, data collection, and evidence-based strategies.

The student will perform the following professional and pre-professional duties under the supervision of qualified ABA clinical staff:

Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans and behavior intervention procedures as directed by the supervising clinician.
Conduct direct 1:1 ABA sessions with clients to teach communication, social, academic, adaptive, self-help, and daily living skills.
Collect, record, and review objective behavioral and skill-acquisition data during treatment sessions to monitor client progress.

Training:

Weekly 1:1 with Case manager with client and outside if needed

Learning Outcomes:

1.Implement ABA treatment plans accurately by following individualized intervention procedures and collecting reliable data on client progress.
2.Demonstrate effective behavior-management and skill-acquisition strategies, including prompting, reinforcement, redirection, and functional communication techniques.
3.Communicate and collaborate effectively with supervisors, caregivers, and other team members while maintaining professional, ethical, and client-centered practices.
