Opportunity Summary
Tasks:

- Develop and distribute weekly employee benefits communications, translating benefit information into clear, engaging content to increase employee awareness of available benefits
- Communicate with external vendors and suppliers to coordinate requests, provide updates, and ensure timely follow up
- Gather and analyze employee feedback to identify opportunities to improve onboarding communications and employee experience
- Organizes internal documents and/or files ranging from vendor files, invoices, to technical engineering drawings and specifications in a centralized system where each item can be found and retrieved easily without duplication of efforts
- Coordinate detail for employee engagement events
- Immediately bring to management’s attention any suspected nonconformance regarding all facility procedures and/or legal requirements
- Responsible for collecting and accurate data entry of financial information into a record management system
- Assist with invoice matching of receipt information and photocopying
- Other duties may be assigned

Training:
\n
General employer orientation, weekly training with on-site Admin manager and Business Manager on client relations and procurement processes. Training with HR staff on employee benefits and communication to staff.

Learning Outcome:
\n
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be well versed in streamlining our procurement processes, understanding the dynamic of a consultant/client relationship, develop strong professional written communication skills, understand communication pathways and relationship development with a client who serves the public, and understanding culture development for a on-site staff of 60 employees.
