School Gardens, Greenhouse, Coop & Outdoor Rec Stewards - Chartwell SchoolAt — Chartwell School
Ready to leave a lasting impact? Chartwell School is seeking independent college volunteers in Agriculture, Soil Science, or Outdoor Recreation—to steward our campus garden, orchard, chicken coop, greenhouse, and outdoor learning spaces.
Working autonomously with minimal direct management, you will use self-guided binders and journals to track daily caretaking, record tasks, and propose written improvements like organic pest management. Have an innovative project idea? Design and install practical initiatives that directly benefit our K–12 neurodiverse learners, offering them vital social-emotional growth through hands-on experiences with nature.
This opportunity lets you gain real-world skills, build your resume, and inspire the next generation of horticulturists and outdoor innovators. If you are ready to grow your leadership and make a lasting difference in our campus community, we are ready for your help! Join our stewardship team today.
