Opportunity Summary 

Fallbrook School of the Arts, a division of Fallbrook Center for the Arts, Inc., is a dynamic creative hub where people of all ages explore and express their artistic voices. We’re offering a paid opportunity for two marketing and social media interns who want to immerse themselves in that creative energy. Interns will produce compelling photo and video content that highlights our classes, workshops, exhibitions, and the artists who shape our Art Center. With up to 8 hours a week, this role provides hands-on experience capturing and shaping the visual story of a thriving arts organization dedicated to inspiring creativity every day.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

- Hands on experience with social media strategy for the school and our art center - Digital archive management using google docs - Using branded graphics in video and static content - Content planning and scheduling according to our class and event schedule - Photography, videography, and editing - Creating and updating website content - Building professional experience, creative portfolio, communication and design skills, networking, and contributing to our arts community - Working with artists, board members and staff to create and maintain the culture of our organization through social media and marketing efforts. - Paid internship

Opportunity Training 

Interns will get an orientation for safety and emergency management for both the school and the art center. Interns will also get an orientation with key staff members to orient them to our current marketing and social media efforts. Scheduling will take place to expose them to various classes, workshops and special events. Expectations and goals will be discussed and a plan for execution will be created. Interns will not work with minors or vulnerable populations without the supervision of an FCA staff member. Training will take anywhere between 3-8 hours depending on the skills already had by the interns.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Working around art processes involving kilns, slab rollers, and other machinery poses certain safety hazards. Interns will not be using any of the equipment and will be oriented to their hazards and how to prevent incidents.
