Opportunity Summary 

This is still being developed and she would benefit from CSUMB Service Learning Advisor Support to continue to finalize and develop:

The 4-H Service Learning Project provides members with opportunities to serve their community while developing leadership, citizenship, communication, and teamwork skills. Members will participate in volunteer activities that address community needs and reflect on the impact of their service.

Project Goals By participating in this project, members will:

• Learn the value of community service and civic engagement.

• Develop leadership and responsibility.

• Gain experience working with community organizations.

• Reflect on how service positively impacts others and themselves.

• Complete meaningful volunteer service throughout the project year.

Requirements:

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Must be 18 or older
Opportunity Training 

Review, feedback and support as well as access to the UCNR developed curriculum.

Opportunity Supervision

There will be frequent check-ins, club members report out about project activities
