Opportunity Summary 

Trans Service includes focus primary on the Trans Community with assistance in counseling appointments, hormone therapy, events focused on Trans, Trans Orientations, Linkage to Care, Legal Clinics.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn how to work with the Trans community and better understand them, in addition, they will learn the processes a Trans individual goes through to transition, LGBTQ dictionary words, the current laws and practices in California as well as the USA, communication skills with supervisors and clients.

Opportunity Training 

Training in all roles will be conducted by a Director or Coordinator who oversees the work being done. Training currently will be conducted remotely, with weekly checkins, on how the system works, how to input any data, how to address clients, what the LGBTQ Center does, the history, and so forth.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity
