Food Bank for Monterey County

Organization Description

The Food Bank for Monterey County is committed "to lead efforts in the awareness and elimination of hunger in Monterey County". We provide an efficient, cost-effective, centralized system for collecting and distributing food that reduces waste and alleviates hunger in Monterey County. We also solicit donations of food, purchase staple foods, and distribute emergency and supplemental food to needy people and local charities.
