From our district's beginning with 9 students in a house, we have grown to almost 9000 students and 800 staff members at 14 elementary schools.

The Mission of the Salinas City Elementary School District is to provide a well-rounded education with multiple opportunities for all students’ success.

We expect all children to be at or above grade level.

Program Information

The Mission of Monterey Park School is to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which all students learn in a 21st Century Classroom, the Common Core State Standards and demonstrate appropriate behavior to become critical, creative thinkers and independent problem-solvers in a diverse society.

We work to educate all students to the highest academic and behavioral standards.

Monterey Park School Serves TK-6th Grade students.  We offer Intervention opportunities for our struggling learners as well as our GATE students, Sports, an Art Class and a Vocal Music Class.  We strive to build a well-rounded education for all students. 

Health & Safety

All service learning students will be required to have a TB test and Fingerprinting prior to starting their service hours.
