Organization Description

Our goal is to eliminate the opportunity gap while creating every student to be civic and digital citizens who are prepared to be college and career ready. The mission is to provide leadership and guidance for all stakeholders to increase student achievement through standards-based curricula, professional development, and educational support.

All service learning students will be required to have a TB test and Fingerprinting prior to starting their service hours.

Program Information

San Vicente School is a Transitional kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school, which also houses a state preschool facility and two Special Day Classes. We at San Vicente School envision a learning environment where the school and community works together to develop literate, life-long learners in a technological age. Our students are responsible decision-makers who appreciate their heritage, celebrate diversity and respect the diversity of others. Our mission at San Vicente School is to provide a safe, nurturing, creative and inspiring learning environment where we communicate effectively with parents, students and each other. 

Service Learning Opportunities include- After School: Homework help, general tutoring, organize physical fitness activities. Science lab and technology education; career exploration talks/workshops; garden support; mentoring.
