Community Roots Garden

Organization Description

Our mission is to build food security in our area. To this end, we seek to grow a community of gardens...share produce with neighbors and friends in need...empower one another through learning, teaching and cooperating to nourish ourselves justly, sustainably, and self-sufficiently...and restore wellness to the land, the human spirit, and the community.

Health & Safety

Pay attention to you your body's limits and take breaks accordingly. Be advised that the garden is home to many insects including bees, wasps, and spiders. People with severe allergies to bees or certain plants should bring their own remedies (i.e. epi pen or topical creams).
