Program Information

 

As part of the integrated system of care within Student Health, Counseling and Wellness Services, the CARES (Crisis Assistance and Resource Education Support) office provides support to students who are in crisis and/or experiencing unique challenges to their education. 

Through the CARES office, we provide care to students by coordinating referrals to campus and community resources and offering follow-up case management support to address a variety of  issues including, but not limited to housing, food and transportation resources, academic case management and faculty liaison support, basic needs emergency grant non-qualified scholarships and CalFresh application assistance.
