Sobriety Works provides professionally operated outpatient treatment services and supportive sober living environments that are warm, nurturing, and focused on the people they serve.
Based on the 12-Step model, our services are person-centered and individually tailored to meet each client’s strengths, needs, abilities and preferences. We collaborate with judges, attorneys, probation and parole officers, mental health and human services agencies. In addition, a wide range of referrals are available dependent on individual client needs.
Program Information CHHS interns- Data entry and tracking for DMC-ODS compliance; shadowing a counselor either in person or on zoom; in other words we have a data focus, or a clinical focus available.
Also, have the opportunity to work along the clinical director and data analyst with projects such as data management, client chart quality assurance, assessing program outcomes, learn electronic records program Avatar and data entry, learn about MediCal billing, health insurance billing, and tracking. Data Capture and Analysis, business accounting work (variable options to match with interests), or office/reception for housing and treatment. Unless someone is employed with us they can not deliver client services, but employment is an option eventually with the right fit.
Opportunity to attend meetings with Sheriffs, Probation, and other Santa Cruz County Offices to experience the collaboration between the public service system.
