Parking is sparse and in busy seasons may be diffucult to find. Please prepare for up to a 20 minute walk to a car and use the buddy system when possible. Close toeed shoes are required because students may be asked to lift items that may be up to 50lbs or water may be on th efloor from maintenance.

With out pubic and student education programs, we get folks of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds visiting the aquarium.

Our facility is open to the public of all walks of life, ages, gender and backgrounds. From time to time, we host field trips and/or outreaches that involve people with disability and special learners. They will also be working with youth volunteers, aged 14-18 years old. When working at the aquarium, families often visit which includes children under 18 and the elderly. If service learning students assist with our education programs, they will have opportunities to work with K-12 students from across Los Angeles and Orange counties. Students will be assigned to program leads and will receive assignments and oversight from these key personnel. Photos and videos of guests, volunteers or students are not allowed, unless waivers are signed. Screenshots during virtual classes are not allowed.
