Grey Bears

Organization Description

Grey Bears improves the health and well-being of seniors and our community through food and meal deliveries, volunteerism, resource conservation and recycling. Our programs include a grocery bag delivery to 4,000 seniors, disabled persons, and farmworkers throughout the community, a daily food pantry with food recovered from local grocery stores, and kitchen that serves breakfast and lunch daily using recovered food. Additionally, we have a large recycling, e-waste and thrift store program all of which help to fund our food programs.

Health & Safety

Some work may require students to assist in delivering grocery bags (8-10lbs each) in produce fields. The ground may be uneven to walk on.
