Assuaged Foundation, Inc.

Organization Description

Assuaged is a 501(c)(3) disability military non-profit that provides valuable work experience for college students by bridging the gap between academic study, self-care, and the practical world of technology. Our mission is “uniting military leaders to guide and mentor college students through the transition process to form a sense of purpose and resiliency.”

Health & Safety

Students will work with peers from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and may be exposed to high-stress levels at work, home, and school. Since the commencement of our internship program in January 2020, we have only had two students with a disagreement, which we resolved through a conflict-resolution process. All the students we attract are respectful and here to learn new skills, honor and socially support other peers, and build high net-worth quality relationships in a high-tech, mentored online remote workplace environment that follows strong networking and netweaving principles.

Students can work freely in an online remote workplace environment at any time convenient. Regular weekly and celebrity influencer mentorship meetings cover writing, health and wellness, politics, entrepreneurship, and creative arts. While students are not micromanaged, they are supported through learning various tech-robust skills. This takes TIME. Our program is 100% remote, catering to the new requirements of employers seeking at least 2-3 years of online work experience before making official hires. Employers are also seeking students equipped in social media, marketing, and outreach. The Assuaged student tenure processes have continuously improved over time, giving the keys to students and truly allowing them to learn fundamental marketing principles such as managing the back-end of software utilized by multi-billion dollar companies, including Hubspot, Slack, Monday, Agorapulse, and Clockify. Students learn SEO, create blogs, newsletters, landing pages, and website pages, and manage business suite platforms connected to major social media platforms.
