Organization Description

The Naval Postgraduate School provides defense-focused graduate education, including classified studies and interdisciplinary research, to advance the operational effectiveness, technological leadership and warfighting advantage of the Naval service.

Health & Safety

NPS and CSUMB have signed an Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) outlining the parameters of their relationship. NPS performs its own background check on all interns. We also provide a general safety briefing as part of their orientation, and faculty mentors follow up with any lab-specific safety training. Students' IDs must be REAL-ID compliant to access the NPS campus. NPS does not provide workers compensation insurance for EPA-sponsored interns.
