Organization Description

Poetic Justice’s mission is to offer restorative writing and creative arts programs to individuals who are or have been incarcerated in women’s prisons, jails, and youth facilities.

Health & Safety

The intern will be working inside a women's state prison and needs to follow all safety protocols required by Poetic Justice and the CDCR

Additional requirements and/or considerations
  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Driver's License
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Pre-Placement Training
