Organization Description

We provide youth programs that offer mentorship, physical training, and academic support, and adult programs that focus on personal growth, recovery, and reintegration. Through partnerships with local schools, community leaders, and organizations, we are committed to making a lasting impact on the North County San Diego community.

Health & Safety

The intern may interact with minors, young adults, and other potentially vulnerable participants in supervised strength-based and mentorship programming. All student involvement will occur within a structured environment under staff supervision and within the student’s approved role and scope.

The internship takes place in active strength-training and fitness environments that may include free weights, barbells, dumbbells, racks, resistance equipment, and general physical activity. Safety protocols include staff supervision, orientation to equipment use, clear lifting-area expectations, progressive task assignment, and immediate reporting of any incident, injury, or concern.

We are boys and girls club Tuesdays during the summer 10am-12pm, Tuesdays Alta Vista during the school year 4-7pm, Thursdays MGM high school during the school year 4-7pm, Wednesday Innovation high school all year long 11-1pm. Time to time we have weekend engagements and other volunteer opportunities. We are very active in the community.
