The Bahati Foundation
The Bahati Foundation's mission is to provide underrepresented youth with access to noncompetitive and competitive cycling with resources and support, allowing success on and off the bike.
The Bahati Foundation's outreach primarily focuses on elementary school-aged boys and girls. Through our cycling programs, we provide hands-on instruction in bicycle safety, riding skills, bike handling, maintenance, health and wellness, and active mobility while creating a fun and supportive environment that encourages confidence, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles.
No. In most cases, supervisors are not responsible for overseeing more than eight students. The Bahati Foundation primarily delivers its programs in partnership with elementary schools, where teachers, school staff, and program personnel remain responsible for student supervision. Foundation instructors focus on providing cycling instruction and hands-on skills training while maintaining appropriate instructor-to-student ratios to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
