VolunteerAt — The Guardian Angel Program of San Diego County/Aging & Independence Services - George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Centers, Inc

Opportunity Summary

Help San Diego county reduce senior isolation by visiting with seniors in long-term care facilities a period of six months and a minimum of three hours a month. Engage in 1:1 conversations, activity programs, be a companion to a senior (learn from them or teach them), reminisce, etc. Bring your skills and contributions to the program for a more impactful opportunity and experience. Know how to play an instrument or can teach art? we welcome talent. Good listener? Seniors can talk, and often times want someone to listen. Think outside the box, and anything will be possible.
