Volunteer Basketball Coaches At — Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach / Legacy Clubhouses

Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach is looking for volunteer basketball coaches to instruct players (1st - 8th grades) at practice and games during basketball season (3/14/20 - 5/23/20). Coaches should schedule a minimum of one practice per week and coach a minimum of one game per week. Practice should be scheduled on site and coordinated with the Site Director. After attending Coaching Clinics, coaches will be able to conduct drills, develop plays, and manage playing time to ensure each player has equal playing time. Upon completion of Coaching Clinic, coaches will receive a coaching certificate and $60 stipend. All coaches will complete a background check.
