Organization Description

The Orange County Human Relations Council is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1991 for the purpose of developing and implementing proactive human relations programs in partnership with schools, corporations, cities, foundations and individuals. OC Human Relations provides programs in collaboration with schools, individuals, cities, businesses, foundations and the county to support a vision of an Orange County where our diversity is realized as a source of strength. We envision a community where all people feel valued and included, and we are about the business of creating the model programs that can bring life to our vision. We provide proactive, inter-group relations and violence prevention programs in schools and communities throughout Orange County.  Our programs reach more than 50,000 Orange County residents annually. OC Relations mission is to foster mutual understanding among residents and eliminate prejudice, intolerance, and discrimination in order to make Orange County a better place for ALL people to live, work, and do business.
