We are a small business. We design and sell cute art and gifts for pet parents. We try to represent as many breeds as we can. We focus on online sales, pop-up events, and wholesale.

Opportunity Title: Marketing Intern

Opportunity Summary: The student will help optimize the SEO/keywords for my website, analyze website statistics and offer suggestions for improvement, and create social media posts for marketing.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned how to market an online business through social media, how to increase website traffic, and handle the day-to-day operations of a small business.

The following tasks/activities students would be doing for this opportunity:

  • Analyze and/or study data
  • Create or promote marketing content
  • Create written or digital content (e.g. graphic design, photos, website, blog/article, social media posts)
  • Edit digital content (e.g. images, videos, web content)

What training will be provided to students to perform these responsibilities? The student will be taught how to access the backend data of the website and social media.
