Organization Description

Launched in 2002, CPP's Renaissance Scholars is a comprehensive support program that empowers former foster youth through higher education. The program enables former foster youth to attend one of the nation's finest universities.This innovative program draws on Cal Poly Pomona's Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)and the Casey Family Programs' It's My Life Framework for Transitioning Foster Youth.The program provides critical educational resources and a supportive environment.The program provides workshops, mentoring, tutoring, academic advising, life skills seminars, referrals to housing, financial assistance, educational enrichment and community building activities.

Pre-Placement Training for us is to determine if the student interested is a good fit for to work with our special population - This is an Informational Interview ( either zoom or in person)
