Opportunity Summary 

Volunteer for garden activities in the Modoc Garden like weeding, planting, misc. maintenance projects - also lectures about pollinators, wildlife species, plants (native, ornamental, invasive)

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The required maintenance needed for monarch & pollinator gardens and other wildlife habitats.

Opportunity Training 

Training and identification of invasive weed species vs. beneficial plants.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Safety training using garden tools will be provided, as well as techniques for participating in garden projects.
