Organization Description

Chris Amendt is a local resident of Camarillo and founded a community-involved, non-profit organization, Native Monarchs, in 2020, dedicated to Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator conservation efforts by creating habitats in residential gardens, schools, golf courses, and on undeveloped and underutilized land in Southern California.

Health & Safety

Safety training and orientation for any students participating in monitoring or habitat areas on Sterling Hills Golf Course provided. Use of small hand tools such and shovels, clippers and gloves may be recommended but not required.
