Organization Description

Health & Safety

Depending on which program students want to work with and if they would have direct client interaction, depends on whether or not we would require and cover cost for a background check.

Depending on which program they want to work with and if they would have direct client interaction, depends on whether or not we would require and cover cost for a TB Test.

An orientation meeting and discussion of jobs performed would be completed prior to the start date, and then an in-depth training and orientation would take place once their placement hours began.

Camarillo Health Care District mission and services provided training completed with a tour of the agency and introduction to staff. Then specific and detailed training and orientation of chosen program placement would commence with designated site supervisor (who would be the staff member who oversees the program). A detailed training manual would be provided, role playing to get the student comfortable with how to handle calls/client interactions (depending on again which department is chosen), job shadowing, HIPAA, security awareness training, elder abuse mandated reported training, and daily debriefing with site supervisor.
