House Farm Workers!

Organization Description

Since 2004, House Farm Workers! and its partners have been working to improve access to affordable housing for farmworkers. Thanks to these efforts of House Farm Workers!, more than 1900 homes have been completed or planned in Ventura County, giving new opportunities and new hope to hundreds of families. House Farm Workers! invites everyone who cares about farming and farmworkers to join it in its mission to “support and promote the provision of safe, decent and affordable housing for all farmworkers and their families.”

Health & Safety

Students may park in the back lot of the Santa Paula Art Museum, then check in with the site supervisor at House Farm Workers!. Training and orientation will be provided.

LEARNING SITE LOCATION

  • House Farm Workers! is located on the second floor of the Santa Paula Art Museum. This location can only be accessed by stairs - no elevator is available.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
