Healthcare for the Homeless/One Stop

Organization Description

Ventura County Health Care for the Homeless/One Stop Outreach Program is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives by simplifying the health care experience, meeting consumer health and wellness needs and sustaining trusting relationships with our most vulnerable of clients. The program is designed to provide low income and homeless individuals and families with much needed services that can have a significant impact on their health and quality of life.

Health & Safety

We are HIPAA compliant and we have to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

Individuals that participate in these programs are very low-barrier with substance abuse issues, behavioral health issues, and social and economically disenfranchised.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • TB Test
  • Vaccinations
  • RISK: Students may be working with behaviorally challenged populations.
  • RISK: Students may be working with individuals who have a known criminal background or history of violent behavior.
  • SAFETY: Students are NOT PERMITTED to take photos or video while on site.
