The Wedding & Events Assistant provides support to the Food & Beverage Department. This position is responsible for assisting the Wedding & Event Directors with inquiries, site tours, meetings, and administrative tasks. In addition, this position assists with day of coordination including food and table preparations before events begin, running food and beverages from the kitchen to the banquet facilities on demand, serving plated meals to guests and responding to requests from guests.
• Send emails, perform follow up calls and confirmation calls.
• Have a full understanding of CRM Salesforce.
• Create Banquet Event Orders (BEO)
• Lead a BEO meeting.
• Create event packets and other printed materials.
• Lead site tours.
• Full knowledge of a setup of event spaces.
• Full knowledge of food service execution.
Student will shadow Senior Wedding and Event director on site tours, detail meeting and follow ups. Will receive training on Salesforce and BEO creation. Student will shadow set up team and Banquet Captain to learn the full event set up and execution.
Training on safely handling and storing all food and beverage products provided.
