You will have the opportunity to learn all parts of running a private Functional Nutrition practice which includes marketing, sales, finance, running group, and 1:1 programs with clients.
Practice skills of communication - verbal and written, problem-solving, collaboration, discretion with confidential information (HIPAA compliance), physiology, biochemistry, and nutrition.
Students will learn about health from a total body vantage point, how to identify the root causes of client issues, teach clients why things are happening (explaining physiology and/or biochemistry), and empower them to make the necessary changes to improve their overall health as well as their personal health goals.
It will be a mix of direct teaching and also shadowing activities.
