Opportunity Summary 

The Therapeutic Recreation Intern will plan, implement and evaluate recreation programs and special events for individuals with intellectual disabilities, provide one-on-one assistance to participants, conduct administrative duties, attend division and committee staff meetings, assist with the inclusion services and senior programs.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

Interested students should contact main contact to schedule an internship interview and provide resume and references. Once the student is accepted, a City of Sunnyvale volunteer application needs to be completed and fingerprints need to be taken by the City of Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety or Human Resources. Internships are given to students who pass the fingerprint clearance.
