Impact and Evaluation in Workforce DevelopmentAt — JVS
The Impact and Evaluation department at JVS is responsible for shepherding the organization to become more data driven. Our department creates trainings for staff in using our data management system, tracks data, and analyzes results. Interns with this department will be tasked with working with the director and data manager in creating visuals for trainings, helping create training materials, summarizing findings in narrative form, creating an internal Wiki. This is an opportunity to understand how a successful nonprofit organization measures impact.
By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned the role workforce development organizations play in helping job seekers find a job, the inner workings of an operational department like Evaluation and Impact in helping the organization measure impact and communicate results.
The student will meet with their direct supervisor or member of the team to learn how to perform specific tasks they will be assigned.
This is a remote opportunity with no known safety risks.
