Opportunity Summary 

Our program focuses on the Health and Wellness and serves as the framework to engage the mind, body, and spirit of every resident, every day. Our teams plan daily activities that encourage physical activity, social engagement, and cognitive health through music, art, education, exercise, and purpose for a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn Leadership and problem-solving skills. They will learn to adjust everyday to different situation based on the mental and physical abilities of our senior residents. They will gain organizational and time management skills. They will gain social skills and confidence in speaking in front a group.

Opportunity Training 

Students will be trained to run daily activities with the supervision of a staff member. The will have hands on training daily for different activities until they become comfortable in the them.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

With the ongoing pandemic and in any case of an outbreak, intern will continue to volunteer remotely through zoom or any remote way. We will provide covid testing to the volunteer.
