Opportunity Summary 

We are looking for someone who loves children and is naturally interested in science-based learning with the desire to create activities & crafts around sensory play and STEAM. We are licensed as an in-home daycare and live near the Oakland Zoo. We have a classroom area that is separate from the rest of our house and opens to a very large backyard play area. The space is comfortably designed to support all kinds of learning, crafts, and activities. The ages you will be working with are between 1 YO and up to 8 YO. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist teacher. - Be aware of children's safety and their well-being at all times. - Prepare snacks. - Clean-up and keep things organized. - Change diapers. - Prepare crafts and activities. - Engage with the children and be able to be on their level.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

How to work with multi-ages, keep kids engaged and be aware of their well-being at ALL times. Opportunites for curriculum development and student-tracking.

Opportunity Training 

- CPR and First Aid - 1 week of shadowing the teacher, getting to know the students and the daily routine.
