SLP Volunteer for Disability CommunityAt — Ability Now Bay Area

Opportunity Summary

Volunteering for Ability Now will give students the rare opportunity to work with the disability community to understand – and learn – the communication obstacles many individuals face on a day-to-day basis. Participants from Ability Now will give real-time feedback and direction on what they would like to achieve as well as guide the student through the communication roadblocks they face each day. This, in turn, will give students an opportunity to think creatively and on their feet to address the multiple and diverse communication issues our participants face.
