Opportunity Summary 

Our Public Health interns will have real-world opportunities to work on meaningful projects, putting the public health competencies into practice. They will also have opportunities to work alongside public health students, as well as students in public health administration, science communication, environmental law and policy, and other fields of study at universities across the United States.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Our Public Health interns will increase their knowledge of public health protection, environmental regulation, and justice. They have opportunities to practice and refine their skills in literature review, writing, speaking, and advocating for children’s health and public health. Interns will learn, share, and demonstrate why children’s health and public health must stop sources of pollution, toxic chemicals, toxic pesticides, lead, and heavy metals, and have opportunities to participate in policy development, implementation, and evaluation.

Opportunity Training 

Training will be provided as necessary to provide the intern with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary. Training is done remotely.
