...about the root causes of inequity and injustice, what communities are doing to fight against it, what more is needed, the type of tactics that work and don't work in social change movements -- students will meet local activists, educators, and leaders, and will hear about and meeting inspiring people who are rebuilding their lives with BOSS support!
The Marketing & Communications Manager will provide orientation and training for all activities the intern will take part in. The intern may also attend a New Employee orientation to learn more about BOSS as a whole and agency processes/protocols, and will be accompanied to visit BOSS sites when gathering stories and content for digital outreach.
Most work will be done at the administrative HQ in downtown Berkeley. The intern may visit program locations which are in locations of varying safety levels but they will be accompanied by staff.
