Opportunity Summary 

Emergent Education Collaborations seeks a social media intern to help establish a social media presence and run a social media campaign for a forthcoming book, Scaffolding the Language of Power: An Apprenticeship in Doctoral Level Writing. The book is a hybrid workbook/textbook for the doctoral dissertation primarily aimed at doctoral students in education programs (both EdD and Phd) but useful for anyone in the social sciences/humanities. Duties include: • Assistance creating and implementing social media campaign • Assistance creating and implementing Kickstarter campaign • Creating & monitoring book-specific social media accounts on various platforms • Curating content regarding academic writing for posts • Assisting with original content • Other social media marketing duties as appropriate
