If you are passionate about promoting access to career advice and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and encouraging online environment for students, CareerVillage is looking for you! Become a volunteer moderator and serve in an INCREDIBLY important role of being the first line of defense by monitoring site content.

Students will practice in the skill areas of communication, time management, critical thinking, assessing and evaluating, and quality assurance. Students will learn about community issues such as equity in education, career development and guidance, cultural competency, inclusivity and diversity.
Online training about 20 minutes in length will be provided. The student will also have access to an online handbook for reference.

Students apply by emailing hello@careervillage.org with interest. The student will be interviewed and then given access to the online training. Once training is complete, there is a short meeting to answer questions and onboard to Slack to begin moderating.
