Opportunity Summary 

The MS Society holds many events to raise money for the support of people and their families living with MS. We offer education, advocacy, support and funding of important research for this disease of which there is no cure. We have our MS: Climb to the top at Oracle Park 9/7 We have our cycling event MS: Waves to Wine 9/14-9/15 We have our Dinner of Champions event 9/21 Walk MS takes place the month of April

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn to work with people living with MS. They will learn people skills, empathy, multi-tasking, how events are planned and produced, working with people with disabilities.

Opportunity Training 

Registration training, proper lifting, rest stop training, training on first aid procedures, training on photographs needed for events

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Closed toed shoes required, sunscreen, hat, dress in layers, bring water bottle. Bring safe snacks if have any allergies.
