Students will receive comprehensive on-site training to ensure they are equipped to perform their responsibilities effectively. This includes an orientation to familiarize them with the gym’s structure, programming, and training methodologies. They will shadow experienced coaches and trainers to observe practice structures, group classes, and one-on-one training sessions in action. Students will also receive guidance on applying kinesiology principles, such as biomechanics, injury prevention, and performance optimization, in practical settings. Regular feedback and mentorship will be provided to help students refine their coaching, communication, and programming skills. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions themselves to better understand the physical and technical demands of combat sports and fitness coaching.
Safety is a top priority at our gym, and we have protocols in place to ensure a secure environment for all participants, including students. Before engaging in any activities, students will undergo an orientation covering gym policies, proper equipment usage, and safety procedures. Personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves, shin guards) will be provided for any hands-on activities involving combat training or demonstrations. Students will be instructed on how to safely perform and observe techniques, as well as how to identify and mitigate risks during training sessions. A first aid kit is readily available on-site, and staff members are trained in basic first aid and CPR. Additionally, supervisors will monitor all student activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and provide immediate assistance if needed.
