TutorAt — East Palo Alto Tennis & Tutoring (EPATT)
The position is for a Tutor. This role is remote and tutoring takes place online. Tutors are responsible for the 1:1 tutoring of a Kinder - 12th grade student. This role requires a desire and commitment to instruct students while adhering to EPATT curriculum implementation resulting in measurable impact. EPATT is seeking energetic, committed, motivated, organized, and creative Tutors. This role requires comprehension of math, reading and writing at the elementary, middle, or high school level. The ideal candidate is interested in education or the non-profit sector. Experience working with youth from under-resourced communities a plus.

Students who have tutored will have improved communication, problem-solving, and listening skills. They will have learned to be more adaptable and empathetic as well.
Tutors will complete pre-tutoring orientations and onboarding, both live/synchronous and asynchronous.
All EPATT tutors must successfully pass a background check and commit to providing a safe tutoring environment for EPATT students.
