JOB DETAILS: Location: San Jose, California Onsite/Hybrid: This role require the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term. Duration: May 27th - August 8th or June 23rd - September 12th WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Develop debug tools to accelerate the analysis for complex issues. Utilize the JTAG tools to analyze, collect and verify the data collected from the Hardware. Work to streamline design validation process and debug to reduce the time to market. Interact with customers while debugging and supporting issues. Work on Pre-Silicon platforms to shift left the validation for complex IPs. Work on Pre/Post silicon for platform debugging. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: This team is looking for a candidate with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate, interact with our team and across functional teams. The candidate should have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to details and a willingness and desire to work and grow their skills in the area of microprocessor validation and design. Pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Solid understanding of the basics of computer architecture. Familiarity with Linux, C++/Python programming. If you have knowledge/experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply Embedded system knowledge. Firmware experience. Linux and Kernel programming.
