Job Description The Operation Associate will be working on manufacturing operations: production planning, inventory control and purchase, production process, supply chain, lean implementation and safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manage and monitor raw material and finished goods inventory. Focus on material availability, lead times, on time delivery through optimal resource allocation, finished goods inventory and movement. Generate and place purchase orders as per production demands and orders. Communicate with vendors and suppliers for product pricing, terms & conditions, lead times. Use lean manufacturing which rely heavily on Just-in-Time inventory methods that in turn rely heavily on interaction with suppliers and transparency throughout the supply chain. Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant) with quality, safety and good manufacturing practices, on time and meeting consumer expectations. Continuously strive for improvement in production efficiencies so that downtime is minimized, and production yield is maximized. Delivery of all scheduled production, on time, within cost, and at quality level. Monitor rework levels and usage in order to keep rework levels at a minimum. Enter data from various source documents into the computer such as excel, ERP system, processing and data management purposes. Verify data and correct data where necessary. Generate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports Assist other Departments as required
