Project management, annotation of images, tuning a general-purpose image recognition model, use of a Linux Bash environment to conduct projects on high performance clusters (HPCs), and management of projects with Git and Github.
Guided study and self-study options will be offered through the USDA-ARS SCINet prorgram (https://scinet.usda.gov/).
Dawson is currently an ORISE trainee with volunteer status at USDA ARS Parlier, meaning that he is subject to the same security onboarding requirements as employees, and the same safety onboarding and annual review requirements as employees.
