Kinesiology / Intern (Paid)At — Euro School of Tennis

Opportunity Summary

We are continually hiring throughout the semester and do not have a fixed limit on the number of interns—we evaluate and bring on qualified candidates as needed. Intern selection is conducted by a hiring committee made up of HR personnel and department supervisors. Candidates are evaluated based on their qualifications, experience, availability, performance during the shadowing session and who can pass the background check. Applicants should have a basic understanding of sports and a genuine interest in working with children. Strong communication skills, reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. Prior coaching or athletic experience is a plus but not required, as training and shadowing sessions are provided.

Opportunity Training

Interns will receive initial orientation and on-site training covering safety protocols, coaching techniques, program structure, and expectations. Depending on their experience, they may also shadow lead coaches or the Head Coach before actively assisting with sessions. Ongoing skill development will be provided through hands-on learning, feedback, and progressively increased responsibilities based on performance.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity

Responsibilities will be performed primarily at Fremont courts and other designated outdoor sports facilities throughout the Bay Area. Locations may vary depending on the season and event.

Opportunity Application Instructions

Interested students should email a resume and brief statement of interest to the program coordinator. Selected applicants will be invited to participate in an informal interview and may be asked to complete a brief shadowing session before final placement. Applicants should be prepared to discuss their availability, college credit requirements, and ability to complete onboarding paperwork (e.g., waivers or background check, if applicable). Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with youth in a sports setting are highly valued.
